YFG Creative Studio designs and builds real ventures — not concepts, not pitches. From an ecommerce platform we scaled and sold, to the marketing, music, and community platforms we're building today, this is a studio with a track record, not just an idea.
Founded an ecommerce platform for electronics, gadgets, and household appliances — built around a simple insight: make big-ticket items accessible through installment payments. Scaled the business to the point of acquisition by a UK-based firm in 2020, with the platform rebranding to Oyato.ng. Retained a 5% equity stake post-sale.
Co-founded a smart football prediction app during a period of explosive growth in African sports-tech. Drove strong user adoption at launch, operating at the intersection of sports culture and product design. Exited in 2023 following internal management shifts — a clean lesson in when to walk away from a business you no longer control.
Canadian tech and infrastructure companies struggle to be found — even strong providers stay invisible without the marketing muscle bigger players have. InfraHub is a dedicated directory and visibility platform for Canadian IT infrastructure providers, complete with a Campaign Builder tool for provider promotion.
Visit InfraHub →Most independent artists rely entirely on streaming platforms for reach and revenue, leaving little room for direct connection or ownership. InsomniaERP Vol. 1 is both a released EDM/techno EP and a working proof-of-concept — a full direct-to-fan sales system with tiered pricing and end-to-end payments.
Visit InsomniaERP →Real community — the kind brands actually want access to — rarely gets built intentionally. F9WL (From 9ja With Love) is a lifestyle and events brand built to change that, starting with NOSTALGIA, a flagship event series creating shared cultural experiences.
Visit F9WL →A two-sided reverse-hiring marketplace connecting talent and opportunity across Canada and Nigeria.
A marketplace of interactive, AI-driven tools for marketing, sales, and creator commerce — built from the same systems this studio runs on.
YFG Creative Studio is built and run out of the GTA — a venture studio shaped by one instinct repeated across fifteen years: find people or ideas that deserve an audience, then build the infrastructure to get them there.
That instinct started in 2011 with a music publishing outfit built to promote unsigned artists, ran through an ecommerce company built and sold in 2020, a sports-tech app scaled and exited in 2023, and continues today across commerce, music, and community platforms — each one built with the same marketing, brand, and product discipline sharpened over a career in digital and product marketing.
